Lyrics

Get Dirty in My Jeep

Written by: Jonathan Pierce

Verse 1
I pull up
She comes out
Born with a silver spoon in her mouth
She’s never worked a day in her whole life

White lace dress
And diamond shoes
This girl lookin' so good
She could have any dude
But she looks at me, thanks God, and she smiles

Prechorus
Living in a bubble
that don’t make her happy
She’s spoiled by her daddy
That's what she says to me.
See, she,
Has got everything she wants
But what she needs
Is to get dirty in my Jeep.

Chorus
Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty in my Jeep
She’s wants to get dirty with me
Yeah that’s what she said

Verse 2
Flew thru first gear
So i popped it in second
She turned the radio to 111
Slinging mud with no doors and no top

I’m about to hit that big mud puddle
She stands up
And tells me to gun it
Screamin at the top of her lungs
Why’d daddy never let me play in the mud oh

Prechorus
Living in a bubble
That don’t make her happy
She’s spoiled by her daddy
That's what she says to me.
See, she,
Has got everything she wants
But what she needs
Is to get dirty in my Jeep.

Chorus
Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty in my Jeep
She’s wants to get dirty with me
Yeah that’s what she said

Bridge
Instrumental

Verse 3
We pull up
To her house
He started to scream and shout
What did you do to my little girl
She hops out all covered in mud
Said daddy i never had so much fun
She gave me a kiss
And a muddy smile.

Prechorus
Living in a bubble
That don’t make her happy
She’s spoiled by her daddy
That's what she says to me.
See, she,
Has got everything she wants
But what she needs
Is to get dirty in my Jeep.

Chorus
Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty in my Jeep
She’s wants to get dirty with me
Yeah that’s what she said

One Headlight

Written by: Jonathan Pierce

Well I
I’ve been driving
Around this town
Late at night

In search
In search of love
Or a good time
Both, i cannot find

Cause baby,
I can't see good
This old car,
Has one Headlight

But darlin
I won't give up hope
I'm gonna find you woman
If it takes all night

Let's go

Improv music

Well I
I need to be honest
I get frustrated with life

But in
the darkest moments
I can focus on the light

So I
I go out driving
Around this town
Late at night

But baby,
I can't see good
This old car,
Has one Headlight

But Darlin
I won't give up hope
I'm gonna find you woman
If it takes all night

Let's go

Just focus on the light
And you will be alright

Focus on the light
Focus on the light

Welcome To Tennessee

Written by: Jonathan Pierce

intro

Welcome to Tennessee

verse

Now I was raised in Alabama,
I can pick a song or two.

When I grew up,
I moved over to Georgia
Where I learned to sing the blues

But I got a call from a friend last night
She said, Country music is gonna end

So I packed my bags, drove over the stateline
Where she was waiting for me

In an old tour bus that said,

chorus

Welcome to Tennessee

I feel at home in Tennessee

I'll be drinking whiskey singin

Welcome to Tennessee.

verse 2

Sooner than later, we
wrote a hit song or two

Overnight, we became famous
Singing old country tunes

But sometimes
I lay alone at night and wonder
if the battle will ever end

Then I see
A sign in the road up ahead
Start slipping into view
And it says

chorus

Welcome to Tennessee

I feel at home in Tennessee

I'll be drinking whiskey singin

Welcome to Tennessee.
